The drying phase is a fundamental moment in wood processing because it allows removing part of the excess water from profiles and other pieces of wood, until obtaining the optimum degree of humidity for subsequent processing. In this phase, driers are used: ventilated air chambers in which the temperature is controlled by electrical climate heating systems. The dryers make it possible to reach a final humidity level in a controlled manner, to ensure optimum quality of the wood.
